Preliminary Technical Verification: The tool above is used solely for the quick identification of the vehicle model in our database. At Szulc Motorsport, we do not use "off-the-shelf" solutions (so-called "canned tunes"). The final performance potential and scope of modifications for your specific vehicle are determined individually during a technical consultation, taking into account the technical condition of the engine and drivetrain components.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Our offer for engine (ECU) and transmission (TCU) software modifications is addressed exclusively to vehicles used in motorsport and operated off public roads. Szulc Motorsport does not provide software modification services for civilian road cars. Our work standards and certifications exclude any interference with the electronics of vehicles approved for public road use.
At Szulc Motorsport, we approach tuning and preparing a car for competition as an engineering project. In motorsport, gaining horsepower is just the tip of the iceberg – what matters is repeatability, reliability, and precision in the operation of systems supporting the driver.
Our approach to VAG optimization in motorsport:
- Individual electronics optimization (ECU/TCU): We do not use "canned tunes." Each car is logged in real-world conditions to fine-tune engine and transmission (DSG/ZF) parameters to the specific track and driving style.
- ADAS calibration in sports cars: Suspension modifications, lowering the car, or changing geometry for track use often de-calibrate modern assistance systems. At Szulc Motorsport, we perform precise ADAS system calibration, ensuring they function correctly even in heavily modified vehicles.
- Thermal management and parameters: Our calibrations include optimization of the air-fuel mixture and ignition timing, protecting VAG group engines from overheating under prolonged heavy load.
Why choose us?
Why is ADAS calibration important in a track car? Even a minor change in suspension geometry or vehicle height affects the operation of cameras and radars. If your car is a "street-track" build, failing to calibrate ADAS after modifications can lead to system errors, which can be dangerous in emergency situations or during high-speed driving.
Are software modifications safe for the engine? We define safety as the engine's ability to complete a full race distance without failure. Our maps are created with a generous safety margin, allowing for fast driving without the risk of seizing or overheating the unit.
Building a trackday car – where to start? We invite you for a technical consultation. Before any interference with the electronics, we verify the technical condition of the engine and transmission. If the car does not meet our technical standards, we will decline the service. In motorsport, there is no room for half-measures.
